Six kids, four in school. Lots of lists, lots of supplies
1. Watch the sales and the flyers in your newspaper.
Most stores start advertising end of July and throughout August. Save those flyers and find the best deals.
Pay attention to customer loyalty deals - CVS, Fred Meyer, and Walgreens. These places always have money back deals, store "cash", etc. It can save you a ton!
2. Order online.
Places like Staples have great deals when you first sign up, as well as great prices. This adds up!
Other sites to get deals: Office Max, Office Depot
4. Amazon Prime
Amazon Prime saves my butt all the time. They have great deals on supplies, backpacks, and tech. Especially if you have a Prime membership (well worth it in my opinion), it will save you time, gas, stress, and you might actually get to keep some of your hair during back to school shopping.
5. Buy in Bulk
If you have a lot of kids, like me, buying in bulk saves your butt. Costco and Sam's Club have a lot of bulk items, including paper, pens, highlighters, etc. I always buy reams of paper there - some to send to school and some to keep at home.
6. Buy at the Opportune Time
End of the school year is when items are fully stocked and in low demand. You can find some excellent sales during this time.
