I was recently at a gathering of women, where another woman's style was the topic of conversation for some of the attendees.
Most of the comments were centered around the fact that this person dressed "too sexy" for a mom, how she posted pictures that were "inappropriate", and how she occasionally posted about going out for a girls night.
Now, I have no idea who this woman was, I didn't even know who the chatty women were, but this is ridiculous.
Just because you have birthed a child, does not mean you need to through on a turtleneck, a bird sweater, and a full length jean skirt.
Becoming a mother is an amazing, empowering event.
If anything, you should feel sexier and harness it, mama!
You are a woman first and a mother second. Every aspect of your entire body and life does not revolve around your child.
It will only make you resentful and them entitled.
It is not up to anyone but YOU how you dress. Personal style is just that... personal.
There are so many judgments and limitations put on women in today's society as it is, you can't win. Just don't let anyone else have power over that aspect of your being.
You don't have the right to judge anyone, just as no one else has the right to judge you.
So basically, just mind your own damn business, and ignore the people who don't follow this very basic rule of etiquette.
