Tarte is killing it. 

I've been a fan of Tarte Cosmetics for about 10 years. 

I got my very first kabuki brush from them, and I still have it!

Another year older, another year wiser. 

27 feels very strange. 

Not because I don't want to grow older, age does not bother me. 

Mostly because I feel older and, simultaneously, younger than 27, but not 27. 

Getting pregnant at 16 made me grow up a whole hell of a lot faster than I was supposed to. I had to make more mature decisions, I had to be responsible for myself and another human, I had to make grown up choices. Bills, work, survival. Instead of the normal teenage dreams. 

Now, 11 years later, I still feel 16 in some ways. 

I look young, and thus still get many of the judgmental stares and glares. I still have people asking me "How old are you?!" with that tone of disapproval. I still have to struggle with doctors and teachers taking me seriously after learning my age. 

And yet, I also feel much older. 

I have endured a much older persons pain. I have had to make decisions I hope that no one would ever have to make. I have had to live with the consequences of my choices. 

Here I am, 27 with 6 children.

These numbers don't scare me. I am grateful for them. 

Here's to another year of life, love, and lessons.

After enduring a wretched marriage, and a vengeful and malicious divorce where every single thing I have ever done was scrutinized and spread throughout town for others to scrutinize as well, I learned not to judge others. 

We are all guilty of casting judgement in some form or another, but keep in mind that their story is a mystery to you. Take a moment to consider how your story looks from the outside, how my story looks from the outside, how a dear friend's story looks from the outside. Without vital details, you can draw unfounded and unjust conclusions. 

Our society thrives on judgement, and we've all felt the pain of being unfairly judged. 

Never judge a person's actions until you know their motives. 

There is something greater than judgement, and it is called mercy.

Loving My Body

After having Lincoln, I had a hard time with getting back in shape. I was doing everything I knew how and my body was not cooperating. I felt sluggish, and just out of my comfort zone. 

I am not ashamed of my "before" body. My body made six beautiful children, it birthed those children, and made nourishment for them. I appreciate my body for all its done. 

But I knew I needed to find a new way to get in shape.

My father-in-law just so happens to be a photographer and while we were visiting them over the weekend we took amazing pictures. 

This one is my absolute favorite. 

Ryan hung Roman upside down because he was SO over it (Romy likes being upside down). 

Zach was mad, not sure why. 

Maddie was very proud of her Ariel little people toy.

I just have to say, my crew is so cute. 

We took Christmas pictures this past weekend, and they turned out adorable! 

Romy was trying to eat his vest, Lincoln was trying to nurse, and Ry had his hand next to Zach's head to keep him from looking around.

Feeling AMAZING today and yesterday. No heartburn, no contractions, plenty of sleep! 

Not sure if baby dropped or if it's just a fluke, but I am loving this. I was even able to eat nearly a full meal yesterday. MIRACLE, I tell you!

This is the same dress from my date night post several weeks ago. It is so unbelievably comfortable! Soft, stretchy, and flattering too. 

I added layered necklaces, the vest, and sandals to make the whole look casual.

I'm in shock that we're already this far along. Doesn't seem possible! I gave birth to Roman at 36 weeks gestation - that's only TWO WEEKS from now! 

Can't wait to meet our little nugget!

Feeling: Pretty dang good! Easiest pregnancy by a long shot. 

Craving: Nothing really. Appetite just doesn't seem to be there

Gained: No idea. I avoid scales lol. 

Biggest complaints: heartburn and some killer Braxton Hicks the last week or so. 

Bump Fashion

I'm loving this pregnancy so far! 

It's baby number six for me and by far the easiest.

Of course, one would expect my body would know what to do by this point. 

Working out regularly and eating healthy are a huge factor in how good you feel during pregnancy (check out my pregnancy health post coming this week!)

Here is what I wore today. I must say, it's one of my favorite outfits. 

It's comfortable, affordable, functional, and so so cute.

Went for a comfortable and casual look today - simple, soft, and chic makes for a happy mama. 

Threw my hair in a top knot, added some stripes and sparkles - Voila! 

Shirt is from Poppy and Dot. Very soft, stretchy comfortable. It's not a maternity shirt, just a regular tunic type of item, and as you can see I tied it under the belly. 

Jeans are Mama Jeans from H&M. They have some of the softest and more comfortable maternity pants I've ever worn. Not to mention, they are usually $40 or under!

Also wearing sparkly pink Toms I've had forever to spice it up!
