Tarte Obsession
Tarte is killing it.
I've been a fan of Tarte Cosmetics for about 10 years.
I got my very first kabuki brush from them, and I still have it!
These are my current faves....

I have long looooong hair. This requires a certain level of creativity when it comes to manageable hairstyles...

35 weeks!
Or somewhere around there...
;)
Dress: Old Navy Maternity
Vest: LC Lauren Conrad
Sandals: Target
Necklaces: Forever 21
Feeling AMAZING today and yesterday. No heartburn, no contractions, plenty of sleep!
Not sure if baby dropped or if it's just a fluke, but I am loving this. I was even able to eat nearly a full meal yesterday. MIRACLE, I tell you!
This is the same dress from my date night post several weeks ago. It is so unbelievably comfortable! Soft, stretchy, and flattering too.
I added layered necklaces, the vest, and sandals to make the whole look casual.
MAKE UP

Lorac Pro Palette 1 on the eyes
NYX Soft Cream Matte Lip in Tokyo on the lips.

Bump Fashion
I'm loving this pregnancy so far!
It's baby number six for me and by far the easiest.
Of course, one would expect my body would know what to do by this point.
Working out regularly and eating healthy are a huge factor in how good you feel during pregnancy (check out my pregnancy health post coming this week!)
Here is what I wore today. I must say, it's one of my favorite outfits.
It's comfortable, affordable, functional, and so so cute.
Hat and maternity dress are from Old Navy
Denim vest is from LC Lauren Conrad
Sandals and necklace are Target

Outfit of the Day
Went for a comfortable and casual look today - simple, soft, and chic makes for a happy mama.
Threw my hair in a top knot, added some stripes and sparkles - Voila!
Shirt is from Poppy and Dot. Very soft, stretchy comfortable. It's not a maternity shirt, just a regular tunic type of item, and as you can see I tied it under the belly.
Jeans are Mama Jeans from H&M. They have some of the softest and more comfortable maternity pants I've ever worn. Not to mention, they are usually $40 or under!
Also wearing sparkly pink Toms I've had forever to spice it up!
Make up today :) My favorites - Benefit Push Up Liner and MAC Sweet Experience lipstick.
Be back soon!

I am just loving the maternity selections this year. Shout out to Old Navy for making such a versatile and flattering dress this season!
I love this outfit for a date night with the hubby. It's dressy, comfortable, so cute, and can be dressed up or down.

Eyelash Extensions
My experience with eyelash extensions...
I really wish I had some before photos for you all to see, but I completely forgot to snap a pic. Suffice it to say, my eyelashes are wimpy. I blame it on the Swede blood.
I got eyelash extensions applied about a month ago. The entire process took about 2.5 hours! The beautician has to attach a false lash to each of your individual lashes, one at a time. Although the final product can be breathtaking, there are some things everyone needs to know before making the plunge.
Some things I learned:
1. Do not talk during the process. When you talk, your face moves, as do your eyes, and it makes it very difficult for the applicator. Bring headphones and listen to music.
2. The adhesive STINGS if you get the fumes in your eyes. Do not open your eyes at all during the process, it'll make your eyes water for a good ten minutes.
3. Do not pick a lash extension that your natural lash cannot support. I went for the more dramatic lash and I now know that my wimpy lashes couldn't hold them correctly. They fell off much quicker than usual and did not lay correctly. If you have naturally thick lashes, this won't be a problem for you.
4. You can wear all kinds of eye make up with false lashes. No specialty make up required.
5. You cannot rub or wipe your make up off at the end of the day. You have to use Qtips and go around the lashes as to not disturb the adhesive. Kind of a pain in the butt.
6. It looks pretty odd when the lashes shed from one area fast. You will end up with a big gap in your lashes.
7. Do not wear make up to your appointment. Zero make up anywhere on your face. The person applying the lashes will be all over your face with their hands and it will rub all of your make up off. And also very messy.
Would I get them again? Perhaps, I'm on the fence. I would definitely choose a more natural lash and decide from there at the very least. I would recommend them to someone with thicker lashes. Although that somewhat defeats the purpose of getting lash extensions in the first place.
You never know until you try!

Current Faves
My make up routine has changed so much in the last six months, I figured it was time to update a few of my favorite staples.
I am happy to say I have found some great products for oily skin and for summer time!
I am happy to say I have found some great products for oily skin and for summer time!
Going clockwise from top left:
MAC cosmetics Pro Longwear Foundation with SPF: Perfect for oily skin. Has great coverage and amazing stay power. Finally found the perfect match!
MAC 208 eyeliner brush: I've debated on getting this for so long, just because my existing eyeliner routine was solid. I am so happy I went for it! Application is easy and precise! LOVE.
Maybelline Lasting Drama gel eyeliner: Such a great drugstore find! I get Blackest Black and it is gorg! Applies smooth and stays.
Lorac Get Hot palette: This palette has some great colors for summer - light, warm, and buttery which works great for all skin tones.
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish: love this blush in Northern Lights. Coral pink with bronzy undertones along with simmer - perfect summer shade!
Benefit Hello Flawless: Great setting powder or something quick to throw on if you're skipping foundation. Has buildable coverage and a matte finish.
Kat Von D liquid lipstick in Jeffree: My newfound love. I am obsessed with these gorgeous lipsticks! Bright and bold, dries matte, stays allllll day. These are my absolute fave lip colors.

From Yesterday!
Smashbox "Sable" in the crease (seriously does every brand have an eye shadow named Sable?)
MAC "Pink Freeze" on the lid
Smashbox "Headshot" on brow bone
MAC Playland "Sweet Experience" on the lips
I was going for a springy make up look again. I've been addicted to the Lorac Pro Palette all fall and winter, so I figured it was time to switch it up.
My latest obsession is the Smashbox Master Class Palette 2. Has a lot of really beautiful shades, perfect for Spring and Summer.
Sweet Experience has been my go to lip color since I got it. I LOVE this color! So perfectly pink! I can't get enough.
